The data-savvy UX designers

Design is all about utilization of rich human insights to inspire the creation of new as well as improve existing services. Understanding the expanding opportunities of quantitative data will be a fundamental designer skill in the future. The requirements related to data literacy can be captured under the umbrella of data-driven UX design. This concept becomes more important as

the opportunities to collect, acquire, process, and utilize data (e.g. in Al) increase in service design due to the involvement of a growing number of digital touchpoints in customer journeys. This talk explains what data-driven design means: what designers should know about it today, its pros and cons, and what to keep an eye for in the future in order to be a data-savvy designer.
