A user experience is much more than pixels, content, and CSS. It’s affected by everything from pricing strategy and customer service to software reliability and performance. This means nearly every employee is making decisions that affect user experience…whether that experience is “designed” or not. Kim will discuss how teams can understand, use, and influence organizational values to create better results.

Kim Goodwin

Kim Goodwin, bestselling author of Designing for the Digital Age, has spent over 20 years in UX and product strategy.
As a consultant, Kim helps large and small organizations build their capabilities through coaching, organizational change management, and project leadership.
As VP of Design & GM at Cooper, Kim led an integrated practice of interaction, visual, and industrial designers, as well as the development of the acclaimed Cooper design curriculum. As VP of Product & UX at PatientsLikeMe, Kim built design and product management teams for a portfolio of social networking and medical research tools.
Kim has led work in healthcare, aviation, retail, communication, financial services, consumer, enterprise, automotive, IT, and other industries. Kim is based near San Francisco, but is often in another time zone, whether she’s speaking at international events or photographing wildlife in remote places.
